SaVoir V5.0.0
| New features | |
|---|---|
| 1 |
Improved styles and visual properties persistency. |
| 2 |
New swath "depth of coverage" feature |
| 3 |
Slew parameter has been added to Sensor Wizard, to define the looking side of the sensor beam
|
| 4 |
The XML format to save and load files has been modified to simplify handing of steerable sensors.
|
| 5 |
Left looking modes (see COSMO, TerraSAR-X, etc) are now configured with positive look angles, same as Right looking modes. The Left look side is identified by the Slew parameter.
|
| 6 |
New Sun Synchronous Orbit wizard page. It includes a new function to suggest the Repeat Cycle and Cycle Length that best fits the current orbit.
|
| 7 |
New feature to export Field of Regard swaths to shape file. Before it was not possible to export FOR swaths. This is now selectable in the pop-up dialog before exporting swaths.
|
| 8 |
Added delivery times when qualifying swaths. Delivery time is the time between reception at ground station and final delivery to user. The delivery time depends on many factors, which can be loosely associated independently to the satellite, the sensor and the ground station. SaVoir will provide a delivery time estimation to each swath as the sum of the three delivery times: Satellite + Sensor + Antenna. Each delivery time can be edited in the properties pane.
|
| 9 |
Three state disengage icons. When disengaging Areas of Interest, they are marked with a disengaged sign in the scenario tree. Folders and Multipart AOIs will show a new sign to show partial disengagement, ie. when not all AOI parts are disengaged, but only some.
|
| 10 |
New Space-track catalog number parameter added to satellite configuration. |
| Fixed source | |
| 1 |
Fixed auto-steering and manual steering on continuous steerable sensors with Field of View defined as STAND-OFF or INCIDENCE ANGLE. In previous versions SaVoir was unable to correctly steer the sensors.
|
| 2 |
Fixed swath footprint generation for LEFT looking sensors (e.g. Cosmo, TerraSAR-X). In previous version these sensors where drawn on the right side only.
|
| 3 |
Fixed small issue on thread termination which prevented threads from terminating correctly on command (see Abort intersection).
|
| 4 |
Fixed updating of antenna circular horizon when changing the reference satellite.
|
| 5 |
Fixed crash when grouping all satellites into constellations leaving no free satellite.
|
| 6 |
Fixed intersection abort function, which did not work in certain circumstances of multiple item intersection queue.
|
| 7 |
Fixed problem when calculating orbit numbers using a reference orbit too far in time from the available orbit epoch. This created an exception (see previous Quickbird configuration) in certain circumstances. Now SaVoir will detect this inconsistency and disregard the reference orbit to avoid crash.
|
| 8 |
Leap second is now accounted in UTC calculations.
|
| 9 |
Fixed annoying camera jump when switching from inertial to fixed frame when in animations.
|
| 10 |
Region subtract with folder regions has been fixed. The dialog didn't show child regions
|
| 11 |
Spotlight field of regard swaths have now a swath ray and a moving pivotal point.
|
| 12 |
Polarization constraint on Areas of Interest can be edited now for folder regions, affecting all regions
|
| 13 |
Fixed gazetteer with new server coordinates and subscription updated. The gazetteer is used for suggesting AOI names and for finding places on the map with the Find tool.
|
| 14 |
Fixed handling of color scales, with a new color scales pool. In previous versions it was observed that the color scale remained in view despite the context had changed. |
| 15 |
Fixed handling of cloud forecast files when downloading consecutive forecasts. If two different forecasts were requested in less than two minutes only one download took place. Now forecasts are uniquely identified and downloaded separately. |
| 16 |
Fixed management of constellation 3D Models. Now it is possible to edit their properties collectively from the constellation 3D models property grid. |
| Configuration updates | |
| 1 |
All configuration files have been updated to comply with the format changes above. |
| 2 |
