Swath Depth Of Coverage

Depth of coverage is defined as the number of swath overlaps for any given geographical location.

SaVoir will render the depth of coverage with a color scale as in the pictures below. The function can be activated from Tools / Depth of Coverage menu

Examples of Cosmo-Skymed ScanSAR swaths over Greenland:

 

Clip to AOIs = true, Ignore Field of Regard swaths = true -> options selectable in Edit / Properties / Swaths / Depth of coverage

 

Clip to AOIs = true, Ignore Field of Regard swaths = false -> options selectable in Edit / Properties / Swaths / Depth of coverage
