Spotlight

In Spot Light Mode the Sensor beam is steered along-track to illuminate a smaller area, increasing the image resolution.

SaVoir calculates the scene footprint in three steps:

• Calculate the best beam to illuminate the AOI
• Calculate a Scene of the defined Length and Width centered in the centroid of the intersection area between AOI and best beam footprint.
• Calculate the Scene times taking into account the SpotLight Integration Time .
