Export the map image

It is possible to create an image of the current information visible in the map view. The image can be saved in Bitmap (.bmp), JPEG (.jpg) or PNG (.png) format (see Diagram 1).

To export the map image:

1. Select the Map view and adjust the view to reflect what will be included in the image.
2. From the File menu choose Export / View Capture. A Save As dialog box is opened.
3. In the Save As dialog choose the location to save the file to, enter a file name and select the image type to create.
4. Select Save to write the file.
