Same Orbit Plane constellation

Select the SAME ORBIT PLANE option.

Select a Seed satellite if necessary from the satellites in the current scenario

Define the number of satellites in the constellation

Optionally define the phasing between the satellites. By default, the satellites will be placed in an equispaced configuration.

The phase angle, or the phase time, between adjacent satellites is displayed in a table, and can be edited manually.

In addition you mat select several phasing options:

- Randomize: Will place the satellites randomly in the orbit plane

- Equispaced: Will return the satellites to equispaced configuration

- Gap: Define a single gap value for all satellites. The gap can be defined in terms of time or angle gap. The dialogue window accepts any option, with the other being recalculated automaticcally.

- Repeat ground track: When a satellite seed has been defined having a repeat cycle (Sun Synchronous or Exact Repeat), the Repeat ground track option is available, and will place the satellites with a phasing that ensures a repeat ground track.
